Why Me? What Makes My Training Approach Different?
Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with business professionals across different industries and in various stages of business.
What I found in particular for the leaders who most resonated with my work / philosophy is that they are intelligent people who take on a lot of responsibility in their work–to their own detriment. They also give so much to their clients and their business that they put themselves last. This, ultimately, is not sustainable as it leads to burn-out.
They also follow practices that are not ‘right’ for them because that’s what they’ve seen others do or have had other mentors coach them into a ‘proven’ system. Business is very personal, especially services-based business. It is vital to discover your own best business ‘formula’.
As a result, business feels like a treadmill; in fact, it can even be a source of stress. Being human, these leaders do not realize that their body is internalizing their struggle.
As a trauma-informed business Maximizer, I believe it is essential to soothe the nervous system to be successful in business. It’s important you be able to show up fully for your business so you have every advantage. That means being well-rested, confident, knowledgeable, and authentic to who you are through your work. You should know this is a key part of my approach to business development and is one of the elements that makes my work unique.
